By integrating the latest in IEM subwoofer technology and adding a second subwoofer driver, THIEAUDIO has successfully enhanced the power and texture of the bass delivered by these IEMs.

The second 10mm composite diaphragm driver (arranged in an isobaric design) keeps pressure and frequency constant.

That's why the Hype 10 comes with a silver plated OCC cable - an upgrade from previous generations - so that you can enjoy greater refinement and clarity in your music.

The Hype 10 features a 10dB bass shelf so that the lows hit hard. It also features articulate treble, so that you can hear every detail.

Bass has been limited to 300Hz in typical THIEAUDIO fashion, preventing muddiness in the tonal range.

Mids from 300Hz-1kHz are tuned flat to highlight instruments and vocals.

Lastly, the treble has been tuned with the lows in mind - bringing detail retrieval to the forefront and allowing you to enjoy clarity in your music.

With a wide frequency response from 20Hz-20kHz, the Hype 10 produces rumbling lows and shimmering highs with ease - so that you can hear all of your music with enhanced detail.

As mentioned in description, this IEM is really made for people who love their music with a bit of extra kick, unlike those super sci-fi ones like Etymotic. It gives your songs a fun twist with a bit more bass and crispier treble, but nothing too crazy. Coming from using an Etymotic ERX, the first thing I noticed was how the bass felt beefed up and everything sounded clearer, especially with songs that have a lot going on, like lots of different instruments playing at once. This IEM nails it without missing a beat. The only heads-up is about the extra bass – if you’re not really into that, it might take a little while to get used to how these sound. But all in all, it's about enjoying your tunes without getting too technical.
