Precise, neutral mids make these THIEAUDIO IEMs a capable studio monitor.

By doubling the mid-range driver count from the original Monarch, technical performance has been improved while reducing distortion.

As a result, the clarity and resolution of the mids have been significantly increased, making these an absolute pleasure to listen to.

As opposed to the first generation of the Monarch IEMs, the MKII features reduced sub-bass levels (to an appropriate level) and a low-pass crossover change from 150Hz to 200Hz.

As a result, a more balanced tonal signature is achieved while still retaining clarity and sub-bass impact.

Bass:

The Monarch MK3 features a slightly reduced bass signature, with the MK2 featuring a more pronounced sub-bass.

Mids:

The Monarch MKIII is more full and bodied in the mids, allowing for excellent resolution - separating male and female vocals more effectively than the MKII.

Treble:

The higher levels of treble in the MKIII can bring more detail to the table, although if you are sensitive to higher levels of treble the MKII might be the right choice.

Detail:

The MKIII has a slightly better resolution due to the improved mid-range tuning, making your music clearer than ever.

I'm sure there are other great iem's out there, but I have never heard anything better so far. The instrument separation and vocals sounding so smooth and never harsh is what I love. But they sure are big, which can be uncomfortable for some people. 10/10

If you want something that looks and sounds awesome i can just recommend it! Very high definition! Be careful to not use bad recordings/files that will make sound those headphones terrible
