View full detailsDriver-dense in-ear monitors with 7-9 drivers become more commonplace in the premium IEM space. These multi-driver IEMs offer high-resolution sound and incredible detail and power, especially in the bass frequencies, allowing you to enjoy your favorite albums and playlists with renewed clarity and immersion.
Browse our collection of IEMs with 7-9 Drivers from premium audio brands like 64Audio, THIEAUDIO, Noble Audio, and Empire Ears and find the right IEM for your sound preferences.
If you must have multiple drivers in your preferred IEM, you can’t go wrong in-ear monitors with 7-9 drivers per shell. These IEMs typically have a powerful dynamic driver for the bass, multiple BA drivers for the midrange, and one or two Electrostatic drivers for the treble. When tuned well, these IEMs deliver detail and clarity you won’t get with in-ear monitors with lower driver counts.
With that said, there’s nothing wrong with single-driver or low-driver-count IEMs. When tuned well, a single dynamic driver can deliver a powerful, cohesive, and accurate sound that rivals multi-driver IEMs. The best way to find the right IEM is to demo as many in-ear monitors as you can and choose the ones work best with your sound preferences and playlists.

The Noble Audio Onyx is a premium IEM packed with premium components. With a 10mm dynamic driver, PZT Bone Conductor, and EST drivers under the hood, the Onyx delivers a combination of tight and powerful bass punch, life-like vocals, and a sparkly yet non-fatiguing treble - a smooth listening experience you can enjoy for extended periods without interruptions.

If you’re looking for the most visceral bass experience, then look no further than the Empire Ears Legend EVO - an incredible 8-driver tribrid IEM with enough bass power to deliver a brain-shaking listening experience.
Powering the Empire Ears Legend Evo are two Next Generation W9+ Subwoofers for the bass and five Proprietary Balanced Armatures for the midrange and treble. All eight drivers are synced through an advanced 9-Way synX Crossover to ensure a smooth and cohesive sound.
The first thing that strikes you when you first listen to the Legend EVO is the eye-opening bass power. Those dual W9+ drivers are no joke - the Legend EVO reaches very deep into the lowest frequencies and produces rumbles you won’t get with other IEMs. Kick drums sound explosive while bass guitars reverberate effortlessly with wonderful texture and tone. There’s enough bass to satisfy bassheads but there’s also enough speed and control to keep non-bassheads from turning away.
Even more impressive is the Empire EVO’s ability to keep the bass frequencies from bleeding into the mids. The midrange on the Legend EVO is smooth and well-balanced. Vocals sound very natural, where male vocalists get good oomph and tone and female vocalists sound weighty but extended. Voices and instruments sit in the middle of the mix and offer a balanced presentation.
Like the midrange, the treble on the Legend EVO IEM is smooth and detailed. The overall presentation is a bit smoothed out and lacks a bit of shimmer or sparkle, but there’s enough treble extension to give high notes good clarity.
The Empire Ears Legend EVO is an immersive set of IEMs. Its wide soundstage lets you hear sounds with accuracy. The grand soundstage it projects enhances the overall immersion factor you get when listening, making it an excellent IEM for laid-back music enjoyment.
Build quality and comfort is top-notch, as you would expect from Empire Ears. The transparent black shells feature a simple gold Empire Ears insignia and are smooth to the touch. It is worth mentioning that these IEMs are large - you might not enjoy these for long listening sessions if you have smaller ears.
If you want to experience bass power like never before but still want a smooth and detailed listening experience the Empire Ears Legend EVO is the IEM to get.

The THIEAUDIO Prestige LTD is an excellent IEM for both casual music listening and gaming. Its cohesive tuning and natural sound project a realistic sound that you will enjoy for hours on end.
Prestige LTD is a 9-driver tribrid IEM. You get a 10mm dynamic driver subwoofer for the bass, 2 Sonion BA drivers for the low-mid, 2 Knowles BA drivers for the mid-treble, and 4 Sonion Electrostatic drivers for the treble. All nine drivers are synced up through a 5-way crossover for enhanced sound layering and texture.
The bass on the Prestige LTD is tight and textured. You get enough bass to feel and hear rumbles when a track calls for it, but the bass quantity never overwhelms the rest of the frequencies. This is great for gaming, as the balanced bass presentation keeps things from sounding congested when the action heats up.
The midrange on the Prestige LTD IEM is balanced albeit a bit smoothed out. Vocals sound natural and life-like, while instruments get good tone and weight. Overall, everything in the midrange is presented with good clarity and detail - nothing sounds off or harsh.
With 4 Electrostatic drivers to play with, the Prestige LTD delivers breathtaking treble extension and detail. You get good air and separation thanks to the well-tuned treble, which gives sounds enough room to resonate to their full potential. In games, this translates into a more immersive sound experience, where you can hear sound cues in the game world with stunning clarity.
The soundstage of the Prestige LTD is very good and offers a wide and spacious feel. You can tell where sounds are coming from with ease, making the Prestige LTD a great IEM for FPS shooters and the like.
Fit and comfort are great if you have medium to large ears. If you have smaller ears, you might have to try different ear tips to find the right fit. The Prestige LTD IEM’s shells are larger than average, but they are well-built and relatively lightweight for their size.

The 64Audio N8’s natural sound signature and comfortable fit make it a great choice for anyone looking for a great-sounding IEM for both casual music listening and studio mixing.
The highlight of the N8 is its creamy bass presentation. If you didn’t know, Nathan East is an outstanding bass player, so he probably knows a thing or two about great bass. With the N8, you get effortless sub-bass rumbles with excellent tone and texture. Bass guitars sound incredibly smooth and lush, with details like slides effortlessly presented to you with satisfying clarity. Kick drums sound punchy with very good note weight.
The midrange and treble on the N8 sounds natural and weighty. Voices and instruments sound hefty and never sound veiled or muddy. Vocals and instruments sound true and accurate with good clarity and detail.
Soundstage and imaging are also very good with the N8. The soundstage is wide and offers good positional accuracy, allowing you to pinpoint sounds effortlessly. Voices and instruments never sound congested and have enough room to breathe and resonate freely.
Comfort is a no-brainer with the N8. The custom shells are molded perfectly to your ear impressions for a glove-like. The perfect fit allows you to wear these IEMs for extended periods without discomfort. Enhancing comfort even further is 64Audio’s Apex Venting technology, which vents out extra ear pressure while enhancing overall sound.
The 64Audio N8 is one of the first of its kind - a signature custom IEM made in collaboration with legendary artist Nathan East. This 9-driver custom IEM offers a wonderful combination of musical sound and comfortable fit, making it a great choice for both casual music listening and studio mixing work.

At just under $1000, the THIEAUDIO Monarch MKII IEM is hands down one of the best in-ear monitors you can buy. This nine-driver tribrid IEM won the hearts of audiophiles and professionals since its release, with many lauding this IEM for its high-resolution sound, incredible detail retrieval, and superbly balanced tuning.
Behind the Monarch MKII’s legendary sound is a nine-driver configuration consisting of a 10mm dynamic driver for the bass, six Balanced Armatures for the midrange, and two Electrostatic drivers for the ultra-high frequencies. The Monarch MKII’s overall sound signature is a bassy, midrange-forward tuning for an amazingly clear vocal and instrument reproduction.
The bass is tight, punchy, and powerful on the Monarch MKII. You get a decent amount of sub-bass rumble, but not so much that it muddies the other frequencies. Kick drums are reproduced with incredible impact power, while bass guitars rumble and reverberate with excellent tone and texture.
The midrange is the Monarch MKII IEM’s forte, offering good clarity and detail with a life-like tone. Vocals sound amazing on these IEMs - you’ll feel like the artist is in front of you. Instruments like electric guitars are rendered with wonderful texture and tone for an immersive listening experience.
The treble on the MKII is no slouch either, offering very good clarity without sounding harsh. You get a good sparkle when the track calls for it and you can hear the space between instruments more clearly, adding to the Monarch MKII’s immersion factor. String instruments, pianos, and wind instruments sound clear and clean on the Monarch MK2 - nothing sounds sharp or fatiguing.
One thing to note about the THIEAUDIO Monarch MKII is the shell size. These are large IEMs, so fit might be an issue if you have smaller ears. Those with medium to large ears should have no problems fitting these IEMs. Other than that, the Monarch MK2’s shells are well-built and look stunning in person.
The THIEAUDIO Monarch MKII is an incredible IEM for its relatively meager asking price. With its top-of-the-line resolution, precision, and detail, the Monarch MKII is the IEM to get in the under $1000 range.
Everything went really smoothly and I'm enjoying the headset I purchased. It shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. I had a question about my purchase and received a quick response from the seller. I would buy from HiFiSoundGear again.
Unexpected as in very pleasantly surprised at the sound quality coming out of these :)
I took my Mega5-EST and hooked em up wirelessly and don't miss the wire sound AT ALL!! IMO the wireless sound was 98% of the wired sound without the PIA of the wire. Unless you have some amazing source gear, which thanks to Adam at hifisoundgear I do, you would be hard pressed to hear a massive difference. Especially with a phone as your source.
I did A/B noble Fokus Prestige vs Go pod w Mega 5 and gotta say l, there is more balanced sound with the Go pod chain then the Prestige on its own. To be fair the Mega 5 punches WAY above its price... so the 2 are a match made in heaven.
I find the connection very stable as well. I've used my iPhone AAC/SBC as well as with FiiO BT11 to get other than Apple codecs and was pleasantly surprised as well.
The ear hooks are very comfortable. Actually prefer them to the wire hanging over my ear with a tie behind my neck. For some reason that's hard to get used to and pulls as I wear loose shirts. The hooks stay in as I like to move around a bit. Also the weight is better distributed than other wireless IEMs as the components are in the hooks. The prestige, unless I have foam tips, which I'm not a fan of, will pop out of my ears when I move around. These stay stable and I do not have to re-seat the IEMs to get that great bass nearly as often with other wireless IEMs.
Battery level has been all day 10 hrs so far with intermittent breaks and still have 28% left.
The case also is deep enough to fit the Mega w hooks as it charges which is very convenient. Some IEMs may be too big but they fit with a tad bit of room to spare.
Of course having the flexibility to swap out your favorite IEMs as needed is awesome!!
5 stars for the Go pod and more importantly 5 stars to Adam and his team for such amazingly awesome customer service!! You guys ROCK!! Thanks :)
The iFi Audio iDSD Diablo 2 is an absolute masterpiece in the world of portable amps. It delivers an audio experience that redefines what’s possible in a compact, travel-friendly device.
To all the "haters" out there who mention that the 5180mw output is an overstatement and the "balanced" is not a true balanced output... I say whatever... it drives anything I throw at it with aplomb! FostexTH900mk2, ZMF Caldera Open and Closed, ANY IEM my friends and I have tried ...too many to list. If you need more power than this portable titan.... well you may have hearing loss. And it drives all I mentioned without using "beast mode" (they refer to it as Nitro (1 of 3 settings)). If anything, it could use a lower gain option / IEM match for some sensitive IEMs.
The implementation of BT 5.4 (supports all codecs) is a welcomed addition for quality, but in general, the distance it can be from the source is very small for consistency. That is not a Diablo issue, but a BT5.4 issue IMO.
As for the sound quality...simply unparalleled. I have compared this to desktop headphone amps in the same price range and I would put it toe to toe with them. It even ran close to my buddy's Burson Soloist 3x!!! and the Diablo 2 is portable :)
I run it using A&K SP3000T and it oozes warmth and richness in the lows and highs WITHOUT covering/smoothing anything up in the mids, which is my jam.
It is on the heavier side and will still fit in a pocket... barely. built like a brick. At the limit of what I would like to carry but totally worth it! I get about 6 hours of the 8 rated battery with constant listening, no Bluetooth on, hard wired, IEMs / Caldera tested on the battery life.
In conclusion, the iFi Audio iDSD Diablo 2 is nothing short of extraordinary. It’s the ultimate portable amp for those who refuse to compromise on sound quality, power, or versatility. If you’re serious about your audio and want the best experience on the go, the Diablo 2 is the perfect choice.
Shout out to Adam, a massive THANK YOU!!! for your absolutely OVER THE TOP customer service and shopping experience :) :) Seriously, your dedication and attention to detail have been nothing short of exceptional.
With all the online ordering over the years, HifiSoundGear provides the best service I have encountered. It was as though they were good friends. They responded so nicely to all my questions about the product and shipment. As it works out, while I liked the IEM's, I concluded they were not sufficiently different from the ones i had been using. Again, for the process of returning and getting a refund, they could not have been nicer. Buying from them was a first rate experience.
Recently had a great experience with Adam and Laura. I requested a price match for the FiR KR5 and it was such a painless process. Adam and Laura’s communication is top notch! Adam even sent me a personal thank you video. In my experience, this level of service is hard to come by these days. I highly recommend going through HifiSoundgear for your audio needs….I know I will be going forward! Thanks Adam and Laura!
The quality of service, level of help provided, and overall customer satisfaction is beyond anything I have experienced. I cannot say enough good things about the people who belong to this company!
As for the U4S, these are my first foray into 64 Audio but I am SO thankful that I got to experience them! My goodness the soundstage, bass response from the m15 module, and overall quality is just great!
Please, buy from these wonderful people! And if you can swing it, get a set of U4S! You will not regret it!
Only complaint is the cable. For the price, I expected better, but it works well and is just fine.
Thank you HiFi Sound Gear! I look forward to purchasing more from you in the future!
These are the closest TWS gets to pure IEM listening. You get the wide soundstage. They scale quickly. They have that satisfying bass slam often missing in TWS. The layering is just right and resolution is mesmerizing. Oh yes, you get the convenience of taking them on the go and they are truly comfortable. Noble has achieved a superior status in my eyes with the FoKus Prestige. I look forward to listening to them on my walks when I don’t have to take my DAP. Adam is one of the greats in this business. His commitment to customer service is exceptional. You aren’t a customer, but a client. He helped me after losing my first pair and just went above and beyond to ensure that I was shipped a new pair in less than two days. I am completely satisfied and impressed. You will be too. Thank you and looking forward to my future purchases from your establishment.
