I recently purchased the Empire Ears Raven from HiFiSoundGear, and the entire experience was nothing short of outstanding. From start to finish, Adam (the owner) delivered an exceptional level of service that truly sets this shop apart.
The Raven itself is an absolute masterpiece—powerful, immersive, and refined in every way. It delivers a stunning sound signature with tight, authoritative bass, rich mids, and sparkling highs, all wrapped in Empire Ears’ signature build quality. Every time I put them on, it feels like rediscovering my favorite music.
But what made the experience truly memorable was the personal touch from Adam. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about high-end audio. He took the time to answer all my questions and provided insightful comparisons with other models I was considering. Shipping was fast, packaging was meticulous, and everything arrived in perfect condition.
It’s rare to find a shop where both the gear and the customer care are top-tier, but HiFiSoundGear delivers on both fronts. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone serious about audio. Thank you again, Adam—you’ve earned a lifelong customer. Milos M.
I have owned all the FoKus IEMs and my order of awesomeness for me is FoKus Prestige, then Amadeus then Rex5 in my current roundup. LOVE Prestige warmth and gooey-ness of the sound, Rex5 a bit too bright for me (I have treble sensitivity), and Amadeus is a great all rounder for me. The single DD just suits my eclectic taste.
Amadeus has the best fit in my ear canal (I use M tips) and I have med size ears. So if your ear drums run small Amadeus will be the best for you. Prestige is a bit heavy and falls out easily, Rex snug, Amadeus most secure in my ear as I use these more for Pop/Rock and WOW the sub bass depth is punchy for those brisk walks. Treble is nice and smooth and not as sharp as Rex to my ears.
For the price this one ROCKS!!!
ANC on all FoKus is just OK… but that not why I bought them.
The Noble Audio Fokus Rex5 is by far the best true wireless earphone I have used. The richness and clarity are simply a notch above everything else that I have tried. The experience is even greater thanks to HiFiSoundGear who provided excellent customer service and incredibly fast shipping! Extremely happy with my purchase!
Purchased as a gift it was easy to get the mold taken and sent off and nearly no time at all for the iem to be produced and shipped out.
Amazing service and exceptional quality work.
Would certainly buy again and I've already been telling all my other musician friends about this company and their quality products
I've had the Amadeus for more than a week and I've been using it exclusively. First of all, the Noble Amadeus priority is sound quality and it really does sound amazing.
The case is a bit bigger, but very premium quality. No wireless charging on the case tho. The earbuds fit me really well. I changed the stock eartips with Divinus Velvet tips (the stock works just fine).
The battery life is also amazingat 8+ hours in a single charge. The bluetooth connection and multipoint connection are also solid. It always paired up to my phone right away.
The ANC and ambiance mode are just okay, not as great as my Samsung Galaxy buds 3 pro.
All in all, if you are looking for a really good sounding TWS, the Amadeus is worth it.
The Odin Empire ears are pure magic. From the first listen, I was hooked—the clarity, depth, and balance are unreal. I use them every single day, and each time feels like a private concert. They’ve made me fall in love with my favorite songs all over again.
Beyond daily use, they’re the perfect travel companion—comfortable, durable, and beautifully crafted. Whether I’m on a plane or just unwinding after a long day, these are always with me.
Simply put, they’re not just earphones—they’re a part of my lifestyle now. Empire ears nailed it!
The sound quality of the Rex5 earbuds is exceptional and stands out in its class. However, there have been some connectivity issues with the accompanying app. In terms of battery life, it offers up to 7 hours with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) turned off and approximately 5 hours with ANC activated, which has posed challenges during International flights. Given these considerations, I am contemplating returning the Rex5 and pre-ordering the new Noble Fokus Amadeus. This new model promises an improved battery life of up to 12 hours with ANC off and 8 hours with ANC on. Additionally, I hope that the connectivity problems will be addressed with this upcoming release.
I'm what you call a Tws Earbud junky. Thought I had the pinnacles when listened to PI8 and the denon Perl pro. Something kept nagging me to try the Noble Rex 5 And im glad I did. Sound quality is excellent once tuned to my liking. Excellent instrument clarity and separation and amazing bass. Was able to get over the green appearance (im more of a muted color guy myself), but the sound quality is truly unrivaled. Better then technics az100 though love those for other reasons. Only ones haven't tried are the devialet but im keen on sticking with these as they check all the boxes I need in TWS. HIFIGEAR was snappy and responsive with my shipping, answering all questions and has excellent customer service with a personal thank you video sent which was the bow on the top. Will definitely purchase from them again!
Very fast shipping and great communication. Definitely will buy from again.
Call quality is terrible, they also disconnect from Bluetooth intermittently. The sound is good when they work.
Frankie,
Sorry to hear about the issues with your unit! Sounds like your pair might be defective. You should see a return label in your email. We'll get you a fresh pair or refund your full order - your choice. :)

Is this the most feature rich product? No, the ambient mode is mediocre at best, it doesn’t have an active noice cancellation mode, it is still using only Bluetooth 5.2, there aren’t any fancy spacial audio modes, and it isn’t certified for water or dust resistance. All this being said, it is the best set of TWS headphones I have used. The battery life is long, I never worry about having to charge it during the day, they stay put in my ears no matter what I do, and the passive noise cancellation is on par with the AirPods Pro 2. To top it all off, they sound amazing, I don’t want to take them out, they are so fun to listen to, whether it is rap, indie, jazz, rock, everything sounds crystal clear. When I decided to spend more than double the cost of the AirPods Pro 2, I was worried about diminishing returns, really how much better could they sound, and even if they did sound a lot better, would I miss the other features of the AirPods? The answer was, the sound is so far above and beyond, the “missing” features are hardly missing. Rather than playing with different audio modes, I just enjoy the music, there is an eq for these, but I found it didn’t improve the sound profile enough to justify using it. They sit deep in your ear, which may be uncomfortable for a minute, but after that I don’t even notice they are there.
I may not have a ton of experience with high end headphones, probably the best ones I have owned are the Campfire Audio Polaris, and the Noble FoKus Prestige are so much better in every way it is hard to compare them.
If you are looking for true wireless earbuds, and want to prioritize sound, these are an amazing option.
Recently purchased the Noble Audio Knight and couldn’t be happier! The sound quality is exceptional! The craftsmanship is top-notch even it is entry level. Also appreciated the customer service I received, making the purchase feel more special.
Thank you Adam! Highly recommend!
Amazing sound! Tested multiple other high-end brands in my search for a high-quality sounding wireless earbud and nothing compared to the sound of the Rex 5. Well balanced sound from top to bottom end. Deep powerful bass, wide soundstage and great EQ.
Purchased a pair of 64 audio U4s a few weeks ago I’ve never spent this much on IM before I was pleasantly impressed how they blew away my previous pair. It was a very quick and painless process to receive this item from hi-fi gear one of the owners of the company actually reached out to me and asked me a couple of questions and I appreciated that personal touch. They delivered the product as expected and the owner even reached out to me to see if I had further questions which I don’t know at this time. Because of the ease of use with this site and the cool owner ive advised my other band members to utilize this site. Thanks again Adam have a great weekend
I bought the Noble Audio Fokus Rex5’s while on a quest to find the best in ear headphones on the market. I purchased numerous other competing headphones (Bowers and Wilkins, Denon Perl Pro , Devialet Gemini 2, Bose Quiet Comfort, Jabra Elite 10) and the Fokus Rex5’s outperformed all of them. The audio quality is simply unbeatable. Also, I love the personalized EQ feature and how robust the case feels. Definitely the best in ear buds I’ve ever owned!
My 1st ever IEM and I’m loving it! Great sound excellent software/app to customize audio to your own personalized and calibrated liking! Bluetooth 5.4 allowing more than 1 connectivity doesn’t hurt.
And to top it all, Adam, owner of HiFiSoundGear, provides 1st Class customer service. Adam even provided me with a 10% discount code for a brand new Rex5!!!
When I heard about the Noble Fokus Rex5 ear buds, they had already been sold out at the company. HiFiSoundGear had them and I received them promptly. The ear buds are amazing and I am very happy with service I received from HiFiSoundGear.
I was travelling to the US and was looking at the Fokus Rex5. I sent Adam an email with a bunch of questions, which were fully and promptly responded to. A couple of follow up emails and the deal was done, shipped and ready for me to collect on arrival to my hotel.
The IEM's have to be one of the best sounding I have tried. They run rings around my existing buds and despite their slightly larger size they are comfortable to wear.
The only slight negative I would have is the battery life, which in 2025 is not great. Having said that, pushing 5 driver5s and the tech contained within is going to challenge any battery. Given the quality of the sound I will deal with the somewhat reduced battery life.
The customer service from Adam was amazing. Something that unfortunately is missing from most organisation these days. If I have need for anything else, I will definitely be coming back through HiFiSoundGear, given the fact that they also ship internationally.
Keep up the great work.
Richard (Australia)
I love the headphones; they exceeded my expectations. HiFiSoundGar was stellar with the entire process of my purchase. I was updated every step of the way by real people who cared about my experience. HiFiSoundGear is where I will confidently make future purchases of HiFi audio equipment.
You can't go wrong purchasing from HiFiSoundGear. The best prices, absolutely supreme customer service!! Adam will make sure you are completely happy with your purchase. Many other companies add in all kinds of complicated/difficult return policies, fees, etc. Not so with HiFiSoundGear. As for the Noble Audio FoKus Prestige - it is hard to believe that they are Bluetooth. Amazing sound stage (depth and width), fantastic warmth and detail/clarity across all frequencies. Great for jazz - acoustic instruments sparkle with detail and space - and great for rock and roll, with plenty of oomph!! They look beautiful too!! Connect perfectly, everything is smooth. 100% recommended.
Hifiman ananda BT ‘s are with out a doubt THE best sounding Bluetooth headphones. BUT there’s no sound isolation ( being open backed ) have to be in quite room , No app / eq customizations , EXTREMELY LARGE ! : unless you’ve got a head the size of a watermelon. Very cheap build for 800$ .
I've owned just about every mainstream TWS out there and that voyage started many years ago when the first company to introduce the idea of a TWS was an outfit called Kona on kickstarter, over 10 years ago. Those folks took people's money and disappeared, unfortunately.
My how times have changed since then, as tws setups are now found by the dozens just about anywhere you look. Everybody makes them. There are alot of nice setups out there (bowers, beoplay, technics, masters, denon, etc) but, to me, the Rex5 are on a different level in just about every aspect. The only thing that really sticks out to me as a con is the lack of an IP rating and lack of a wear sensor. I really don't care much about the wear sensor, but some folks will. I've read other reviews that listed battery life as a con as well, but I don't necessarily agree with that. Even at 5 hours with ANC on, that is more than respectable considering what powerhouses these are and the amount of drivers in each one. Race cars don't get 30 miles a gallon.
The most comfortable TWS I've owned are the new Linkbud fits. They are small, lightweight and just fit me extremely well. The Rex5 are just as comfortable, somehow. They are bigger, they weigh more, and yet I could forget I was wearing them. I'm not sure what kind of voodoo they worked up on these for that, but it is mighty powerful lol. They really are that comfortable.
Then there is the sound quality and call quality (both in and out for calls). If these were wired IEMs, the sound quality would be fantastic. To say it's phenomenal for a TWS is an absolute understatement. There was an individual on reddit that came on strong for these, then I'm guessing something happened to them and they immediately flipped script, started bashing these and started pushing for the technics az-100. I stopped paying attention when they claimed that even the AZ-80 where better than the Rex5. That is just absolute non-sense. I own those as well and there is just no comparison. The 80's are good, for sure, but they aren't on the same level. I'm not sure about the new az-100, and will likely not venture to find out as I just like the Rex5 that much.
These really are an endgame type TWS, in my opinion, and I am thankful that all of the money spending I've done on earbuds throughout the years is finally over. I can't see wanting to replace these with anything else, unless they do happen to come out with an IP6x rating or above.
All in all, I am super stoked to have these beauties and am exceptionally happy with the speed that I received them at. Great job by the folks at HifiSoundGear and thank you for helping me find the TWS I've been searching for.
Great sound quality! Performs above its price range. Noble always delivers great quality products! Definitely recommend!!
The HIFIMAN Edition XS has become sort of a legend in the audiophile headphone space, lauded for delivering sound that punches way above its price point.
While I don't have a ton of headphones to compare the Edition XS to, I have heard kilobuck IEMs such as the Noble Audio Viking Ragnar ($4000!), Noble Audio Spartacus, Empire Ears Legend EVO, and the 64Audio U12T. Comparing those IEMs to the Edition XS, I can say the Edition XS delivers similar levels of resolution and detail but with, dare I say, better tone and soundstage - an incredible feat for something that costs less than $500. Truly mindblowing stuff!
Don't hesitate to buy the Edition XS—you'll love it! Just make sure to grab a decent amp to get the most out of these cans!
I also want to thank Adam for the incredible service! I live in the Philippines where international shipping can get incredibly complicated. Adam went above and beyond to make sure these headphones arrived seamlessly at my doorstep. You won't get this kind of service anywhere else!
