I like the sound of this model, this is my favorite customizing: bass is enough deep, but don't dominate - this is reasonable for planar driver. Middle - slightly distant, very natural. Treble - very informative, tranparent and clear. Highly recommend this item for buying. This is one of the best planar heaphones for this price. Thanks hifisoundgear stuff for this masterpice in my personal collection.
I got these a while ago and have enjoyed them quite a lot. I'm not too big into the audiophile hobby so I don't much have the ability to speak on the sound quality with much competence outside of saying they sound good (not just for music either they sound great for movies and videos). The craftsmanship of their design is incredible and I often find myself using the case as a fidget whenever I don't know what to do with my hands. My only real issue with these is that they experience some weird cinnectivity issues that can be mildly annoying. Like for instance sometimes you take them out of the case and only one of them is turned on and connected to your phone, other times you need to unpair and re-pair them to your phone because they refuse to connect, other times you put them back into the case only for them to still be turned on and connected. Those are for the most part inconveniences however that don't really affect my experience that much. What I like more is the service I got from hifisoundgear themselves. They were quick to respond to questions, frequently kept me up to date throughout the delivery process, and overall gave less of an impression of speaking to a company rather a group of people who are very passionate about providing a good customer experience. I would happily buy from these guys again.
There is a glitch in my right earbud that happens randomly. Unfortunately for the price, I would expect this not to happen. Especially so soon after purchase.

Purchase these and then the curiosity got the best of me so I downloaded the prestige encore. As much as the prestige encore has a larger stage in the Rex five I believe the base is more emphasized and is overall warmer which I enjoyed more. I couldn’t justify the added cost of the prestige encore. If Noble were to make the love child of the Rex, five with the encore or a Rex five encore that would be amazing, or add a way in the app to see how much charge is left on the case that’d be greatly appreciated

The E3 is simply the best closed-back headphone ever made, and by a wide margin. I even think it is better than most open-back headphones under $3000. The AMTS waveguide really works with my HRTF, so I find the E3 to sound very detailed, slightly bright, yet very smooth. It also has very high quality, punchy mid bass, and excellent sub bass rumble. And the mids are the star of the show! If you like a vocal presentation similar to the Sennheiser 600/650/6XX series, then you will like the E3.
And finally, they’re built extremely well, are very comfortable, and stage like an open-back while still offering isolation and sound leakage attenuation.

Excellent comfort, crystalline clarity, wide open soundstage, and quiet to others sitting right nearby. Excellent for jazz, orchestra and gaming. Vocals are lifelike and the details are unearthed with superb isolation. Bass might need a touch of EQ depending on your taste.
After the iFi Audio LAN iPurifier Pro Ethernet was in place, this power supply added even more smoothness to the sound. Highly recommended.
I heard this would be a easy to drive planar magnetic headphone but it is not quite as I thought, after I tested this lovely headphone on 3 different DAC and 2 different DAP I can hear its potential and feel I probably still need get a dedicated headphone amp for it.
The headset itself is great, but the cable leaves much to be desired. After a couple of months of use the mic stopped functioning. I've diagnosed the issue myself. The solder holding the connection for the primary mic wire failed and the wire is freely moving. If the company themselves provided replacement cables for sale then this would be a 5 star purchase.
