Amazing sound! Tested multiple other high-end brands in my search for a high-quality sounding wireless earbud and nothing compared to the sound of the Rex 5. Well balanced sound from top to bottom end. Deep powerful bass, wide soundstage and great EQ.
Purchased a pair of 64 audio U4s a few weeks ago I’ve never spent this much on IM before I was pleasantly impressed how they blew away my previous pair. It was a very quick and painless process to receive this item from hi-fi gear one of the owners of the company actually reached out to me and asked me a couple of questions and I appreciated that personal touch. They delivered the product as expected and the owner even reached out to me to see if I had further questions which I don’t know at this time. Because of the ease of use with this site and the cool owner ive advised my other band members to utilize this site. Thanks again Adam have a great weekend
I bought the Noble Audio Fokus Rex5’s while on a quest to find the best in ear headphones on the market. I purchased numerous other competing headphones (Bowers and Wilkins, Denon Perl Pro , Devialet Gemini 2, Bose Quiet Comfort, Jabra Elite 10) and the Fokus Rex5’s outperformed all of them. The audio quality is simply unbeatable. Also, I love the personalized EQ feature and how robust the case feels. Definitely the best in ear buds I’ve ever owned!
My 1st ever IEM and I’m loving it! Great sound excellent software/app to customize audio to your own personalized and calibrated liking! Bluetooth 5.4 allowing more than 1 connectivity doesn’t hurt.
And to top it all, Adam, owner of HiFiSoundGear, provides 1st Class customer service. Adam even provided me with a 10% discount code for a brand new Rex5!!!
When I heard about the Noble Fokus Rex5 ear buds, they had already been sold out at the company. HiFiSoundGear had them and I received them promptly. The ear buds are amazing and I am very happy with service I received from HiFiSoundGear.
I was travelling to the US and was looking at the Fokus Rex5. I sent Adam an email with a bunch of questions, which were fully and promptly responded to. A couple of follow up emails and the deal was done, shipped and ready for me to collect on arrival to my hotel.
The IEM's have to be one of the best sounding I have tried. They run rings around my existing buds and despite their slightly larger size they are comfortable to wear.
The only slight negative I would have is the battery life, which in 2025 is not great. Having said that, pushing 5 driver5s and the tech contained within is going to challenge any battery. Given the quality of the sound I will deal with the somewhat reduced battery life.
The customer service from Adam was amazing. Something that unfortunately is missing from most organisation these days. If I have need for anything else, I will definitely be coming back through HiFiSoundGear, given the fact that they also ship internationally.
Keep up the great work.
Richard (Australia)
I love the headphones; they exceeded my expectations. HiFiSoundGar was stellar with the entire process of my purchase. I was updated every step of the way by real people who cared about my experience. HiFiSoundGear is where I will confidently make future purchases of HiFi audio equipment.
You can't go wrong purchasing from HiFiSoundGear. The best prices, absolutely supreme customer service!! Adam will make sure you are completely happy with your purchase. Many other companies add in all kinds of complicated/difficult return policies, fees, etc. Not so with HiFiSoundGear. As for the Noble Audio FoKus Prestige - it is hard to believe that they are Bluetooth. Amazing sound stage (depth and width), fantastic warmth and detail/clarity across all frequencies. Great for jazz - acoustic instruments sparkle with detail and space - and great for rock and roll, with plenty of oomph!! They look beautiful too!! Connect perfectly, everything is smooth. 100% recommended.
Hifiman ananda BT ‘s are with out a doubt THE best sounding Bluetooth headphones. BUT there’s no sound isolation ( being open backed ) have to be in quite room , No app / eq customizations , EXTREMELY LARGE ! : unless you’ve got a head the size of a watermelon. Very cheap build for 800$ .
I've owned just about every mainstream TWS out there and that voyage started many years ago when the first company to introduce the idea of a TWS was an outfit called Kona on kickstarter, over 10 years ago. Those folks took people's money and disappeared, unfortunately.
My how times have changed since then, as tws setups are now found by the dozens just about anywhere you look. Everybody makes them. There are alot of nice setups out there (bowers, beoplay, technics, masters, denon, etc) but, to me, the Rex5 are on a different level in just about every aspect. The only thing that really sticks out to me as a con is the lack of an IP rating and lack of a wear sensor. I really don't care much about the wear sensor, but some folks will. I've read other reviews that listed battery life as a con as well, but I don't necessarily agree with that. Even at 5 hours with ANC on, that is more than respectable considering what powerhouses these are and the amount of drivers in each one. Race cars don't get 30 miles a gallon.
The most comfortable TWS I've owned are the new Linkbud fits. They are small, lightweight and just fit me extremely well. The Rex5 are just as comfortable, somehow. They are bigger, they weigh more, and yet I could forget I was wearing them. I'm not sure what kind of voodoo they worked up on these for that, but it is mighty powerful lol. They really are that comfortable.
Then there is the sound quality and call quality (both in and out for calls). If these were wired IEMs, the sound quality would be fantastic. To say it's phenomenal for a TWS is an absolute understatement. There was an individual on reddit that came on strong for these, then I'm guessing something happened to them and they immediately flipped script, started bashing these and started pushing for the technics az-100. I stopped paying attention when they claimed that even the AZ-80 where better than the Rex5. That is just absolute non-sense. I own those as well and there is just no comparison. The 80's are good, for sure, but they aren't on the same level. I'm not sure about the new az-100, and will likely not venture to find out as I just like the Rex5 that much.
These really are an endgame type TWS, in my opinion, and I am thankful that all of the money spending I've done on earbuds throughout the years is finally over. I can't see wanting to replace these with anything else, unless they do happen to come out with an IP6x rating or above.
All in all, I am super stoked to have these beauties and am exceptionally happy with the speed that I received them at. Great job by the folks at HifiSoundGear and thank you for helping me find the TWS I've been searching for.
Great sound quality! Performs above its price range. Noble always delivers great quality products! Definitely recommend!!
The HIFIMAN Edition XS has become sort of a legend in the audiophile headphone space, lauded for delivering sound that punches way above its price point.
While I don't have a ton of headphones to compare the Edition XS to, I have heard kilobuck IEMs such as the Noble Audio Viking Ragnar ($4000!), Noble Audio Spartacus, Empire Ears Legend EVO, and the 64Audio U12T. Comparing those IEMs to the Edition XS, I can say the Edition XS delivers similar levels of resolution and detail but with, dare I say, better tone and soundstage - an incredible feat for something that costs less than $500. Truly mindblowing stuff!
Don't hesitate to buy the Edition XS—you'll love it! Just make sure to grab a decent amp to get the most out of these cans!
I also want to thank Adam for the incredible service! I live in the Philippines where international shipping can get incredibly complicated. Adam went above and beyond to make sure these headphones arrived seamlessly at my doorstep. You won't get this kind of service anywhere else!
I recently purchased my Nobile Rex5 from HiFiSoundGear and was not disappointed. Received the Buds as described with fast shipping, I HiFiSoundGear for all your audiophile needs.
Amazing customer service. Adam went into great detail with his experience on these IEMs. Would definitely go to him again!
Probably best I've ever used. Sound detailed with fantastic powerful bass. Shame the app is so buggy it can't detect the earbuds. A small source of frustration.
Long and detailed reviews are available from far more qualified listeners than I, so the highlights (and 2 small gotchas):
- Fantastic sound -- not just "for a TWS" but just really good. Plenty of bass, but not unbalanced. Excellent response time, etc. FWIW, I mostly listen to either pop music or "Classical".
- Excellent Android app
- Excellent voice quality on calls
- Unbelievable 5 year warranty
Small complaints:
- No "wear sensor" so if you leave these sitting on table and answer a call, the audio will sill be going through the earbuds.
- No real microphone noise-cancelling to speak of, so don't plan on typing while you're talking.
I knew in the early 80's that this style of headphone was right for me. I know what I've been missing all these years. Finally with HD audio streaming, a proper headphone amp, a good DAC, I'm at the top of my game. It's worth ever penny! Please, don't hesitate to buy from Adam at HifiSoundGear. A very pleasant experience!
Having owned EVERY Noble TWS since inception, I can say unequivocally these green beauties are the BEST to date!!!! Truly awesome!!! The drivers they stuffed into em are perfectly balanced. And when I say that, not only do they sound amazing (6mm planar... like WOW btw) but they respond amazingly well to EQ (not that it needs it but... hey... all our ears are different) and with EVERY other TWS I have tried / owned and I have owned over 20 different ones, these are soooooo tweakable due to the response from the app to your ears its unbelievable. You'd have to hear it to totally get it. I have also had many over ear models that would not compare to the sound from these little green beauties. BUY EM (if you can find em) and you WONT regret it.
Shout out to Adam, as he is a ROCK STAR in making sure his customers are 100% happy and VERY well taken care of. Thanks man!!!
These are the real deal! I’m hearing details and moments in music I’ve listened to my whole life, like I’m hearing it for the first time. Can’t recommend these enough
Love the VZR great sound plus build quality and of cause sound, I was chasing these headphones for over year so please I have them now
I was in the market for some high-quality true wireless earbuds when I came across the name Noble Audio on Reddit. Specifically, their top end FoKus Prestige came up a few times in my search, but they were listed as backordered on Noble's website. Being the impatient person I am, I immediately took to Google to see if anyone had them in stock for immediate sale, and that's when I came across HiFiSoundGear. The ordering process was easy and quick, and before too long I had confirmation of shipping along with a personalized thank you video from Adam, which was a nice touch. The Prestige's arrived a few days later, and I couldn't be happier with them. Comfort, sound quality, ease of use are all great. These are fantastic earbuds! I still have some great wired IEMs in the Shure SE846 and Campfire Andromeda 2020 that get some use, but these are as close as I can get to that quality of sound but with the added benefit of wireless. Very happy with my purchase, and even happier that I now know of a great new HiFi vendor to keep in mind for future purchases!
I bought the Noble Audio Focus Apollo after long hesitation. I already a couple of Noble in-ear monitors (wired and wireless), so I was pretty curious about their first over-ear headphone, but the price was relatively prohibitive, especially as I just recently bought the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 headphones, and (finally, after years of pondering) the Apple AirPod Max. I found an open-box version of the Apollo on HifiSoundGear, and also got an additional "First Order" promotion, which lowered the price by 25% - that was a go. Delivery was very fast, and the headphones were in prime condition - no idea why this was an open box, they are like new!
About the sound: Long story short - the Noble Audio Focus Apollo are worth every penny! I still have to play them against my higher-prices wired headphone references (from Beyerdynamic, Fostex and Dan Clark), but compared to the wireless over-ear headphones I own, they play everything against the wall (incl. the Apple AirPod max, Bowers&Wilkins Px7 S2 and Sennheiser Momentum 3/4). These are the kind of headphones that make you discover details in your favourite tracks you have never heard before. They are incredibly detailed, balanced and well-rounded at the same time. The bass is very deep, but controlled at the same time (different to the Cambridge Audio, whose bass is probably deeper, but masking major parts of the music elsewhere in the spectrum). They are excellent with voices, and the little details in the upper spectrum that it reveals are impressive.
Only negative point: Compared to my (until now) go-to headphones, the Apple AirPod Max, they are "ear-warmers" - they sit very tight, and they heat the ears pretty nicely... Continued listening might be limited by the ears getting too hot after a couple of hours.
Other than that, pure bliss - by far and large the best wireless headphones I own (and I have ever listened to).
Everything went really smoothly and I'm enjoying the headset I purchased. It shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. I had a question about my purchase and received a quick response from the seller. I would buy from HiFiSoundGear again.
Unexpected as in very pleasantly surprised at the sound quality coming out of these :)
I took my Mega5-EST and hooked em up wirelessly and don't miss the wire sound AT ALL!! IMO the wireless sound was 98% of the wired sound without the PIA of the wire. Unless you have some amazing source gear, which thanks to Adam at hifisoundgear I do, you would be hard pressed to hear a massive difference. Especially with a phone as your source.
I did A/B noble Fokus Prestige vs Go pod w Mega 5 and gotta say l, there is more balanced sound with the Go pod chain then the Prestige on its own. To be fair the Mega 5 punches WAY above its price... so the 2 are a match made in heaven.
I find the connection very stable as well. I've used my iPhone AAC/SBC as well as with FiiO BT11 to get other than Apple codecs and was pleasantly surprised as well.
The ear hooks are very comfortable. Actually prefer them to the wire hanging over my ear with a tie behind my neck. For some reason that's hard to get used to and pulls as I wear loose shirts. The hooks stay in as I like to move around a bit. Also the weight is better distributed than other wireless IEMs as the components are in the hooks. The prestige, unless I have foam tips, which I'm not a fan of, will pop out of my ears when I move around. These stay stable and I do not have to re-seat the IEMs to get that great bass nearly as often with other wireless IEMs.
Battery level has been all day 10 hrs so far with intermittent breaks and still have 28% left.
The case also is deep enough to fit the Mega w hooks as it charges which is very convenient. Some IEMs may be too big but they fit with a tad bit of room to spare.
Of course having the flexibility to swap out your favorite IEMs as needed is awesome!!
5 stars for the Go pod and more importantly 5 stars to Adam and his team for such amazingly awesome customer service!! You guys ROCK!! Thanks :)
First off, if we're judging on looks alone, these are a mile above anything else I've ever seen. Mine are the black variant, a bit more subtle than the blue, but that's what I wanted: not too flashy.
I actually said, "Wow..." when I opened the box and saw the outer case, way before I got to the IEMs themselves. But opening that case? Double wow. Absolutely spectacular!
I gave the case a full charge (four LEDs show charge status on the case, and a left and right solid LED shows the IEMs charging, pretty simple) and paired them with my AK DAC. Very cool. Instant pair, and great sound right from the go. Very nice low end, something almost always lacking in a wireless IEM. Good width and soundstage. Very nice mids/highs. Good balance.
I switched to my Samsung phone and paired again (A click of the reset button in the case helped. They may multi-pair, but I preferred the quick reset. ) Download the app for a good time like the hearing test which steps you through different levels of tones at different frequencies, then plots a custom EQ for your hearing. Nice!
They really do play for eight to ten hours depending on volume. I played them (not in my ears, but overnight) for about forty hours at moderate levels with mixed songs and they broke in nicely. The wooden body can't help but make the sound better. Think of violin, cello, clarinet, etc. All wooden bodied, right?
Negatives? Few. The nozzle ends are large so fitting different tips is a chore. I used the tiniest bit of chapstick as a bit of lube to help tips slide on. I wasn't a fan of the stock tips and went to my Spins. I found that larger than usual gave space for lows to propogate while securely locking them in. Don't try to cram these puppies in your ears! The controls (touching the flats) work well and are responsive and the ambient mode works well. The commands can be reconfigured using the app, but it's not "sticky" without the app on (not on my AK DAC) so learn it.
I have not taken a call yet, so can't comment there.
They're no quite on par with my wired IEMs, but close and very satisfying, and my wireds were 2x the cost.
Go for it. Highly recommended!
