Let your playlists shine in a whole new light today with the 64Audio U4s.
Coming in at $1299, the U6t has 2 extra drivers per side as the U4s, but will still provide a great listening experience. The U4s has a smaller sound stage to the U6t and provides less detail than its more expensive counterparts - but still provides immense value for the price with slightly more colorful tuning than the U6t.
At just shy of double the price, the U12t comes in the same size shell and has 12 drivers per side (3 times that of the U4s). The U12t is meant for a more critical/analytical role and is tuned flat. While the U12t provides more clarity overall, the U6t is a more fun and colorful listening experience for the lesser price.
The U4s is capable of a frequency response between 10Hz - 20kHz, reproducing a wide range of frequencies for your listening pleasure.
Tubeless In-Ear Audio (tia): The tia system is an innovative breakthrough in IEM design, aiming to redefine your auditory experience. By minimizing unwanted resonance and distortion, tia ensures the delivery of a sound that's transparent, pure, and incredibly lifelike. At its core, the tia system houses open balanced armature tia drivers. These drivers operate without the constraints of tubes and dampers, providing unparalleled clarity. Additionally, the tia single-bore design consolidates multiple bore openings into a singular, coherent pathway for sound, ensuring both highs and lows reach your ears simultaneously for a more cohesive listening experience. Lastly, the tia acoustic chambers provide a controlled space for sound to resonate, further refining the sonic signature of the U4s.
Air Pressure Exchange (Apex): Listening for extended periods can often lead to ear fatigue due to trapped air pressure. The patented Apex technology tackles this head-on. By releasing this built-up air pressure while still retaining a high level of sound isolation, Apex ensures a fatigue-free listening session. Not only does this innovative venting mechanism provide comfort, but it also contributes significantly to the sound quality. By alleviating listener fatigue, it permits the soundstage to expand, producing a more realistic and immersive auditory experience. For the U4s, Apex has been fine-tuned to perfection and comes in three tailored module variations: mX, m15, and m20, allowing listeners to choose their preferred isolation levels.
Linear Impedance Design (LID): Every device, from smartphones to professional audio equipment, has a unique output impedance. This variance often affects the sound quality, especially in multi-driver IEMs. Enter LID, a proprietary technology designed to rectify this issue. By correcting the non-linear electrical resistance of the multiple driver-sets in the U4s, LID ensures that the sound remains consistent across different devices. Whether you're listening from a vintage amplifier or the latest smartphone, the U4s will deliver the signature sound it's meant to, free from the constraints of varying source amplifier output impedances.
Electrical Low-Pass Filter: Traditional IEMs rely on acoustic dampers, which often introduce unwanted distortions due to vibrations and turbulent airflow. The U4s, instead, employs an innovative electrical low-pass filter. By taking a proactive approach, this crossover circuit eliminates undesired frequencies even before they reach the driver. The result is a sound that's clearer, purer, and free from the distortions commonly associated with acoustic dampers. It's a reimagining of how sound should be filtered, ensuring that what you hear is the artist's intent, uncolored and undistorted.
