64Audio founder Vitaliy Belonozkho has worked with musicians and producers for decades. At some point in his career, he discovered the advantages of in-ear monitors for on-stage monitoring, but the lack of great-sounding, affordable options motivated him to produce his line of in-ear monitors.

Established in 2010, and then known as 1964 Ears, 64Audio has evolved into an audio company known for bringing some of the best IEMs you can get for the money. Whether it's professional musicians or simply music-loving individuals looking for the best sound experience, 64Audio has a wide array of in-ear monitors to suit every sound preference.

Our collection of 64Audio IEMs features A-Series and U-Series IEMs, alongside 64Audio’s Signature Series and hybrid in-ear monitor options. Browse through universal and custom IEMs from 64Audio and buy the best IEMs for you.

What are the different types of 64Audio IEMs?

64Audio offers four types of IEMs: Universal, Custom, Signature, and Hybrid. The type of IEM determines driver configuration, sound signatures, and shell types.

64Audio U-series is the company’s line of Universal IEMs. These IEMs can feature up to eighteen Balanced Armature drivers to deliver their individually unique sound.

Tuning between U-Series IEMs will be somewhat similar between models, but models with more drivers will typically have a more coherent sound, improved detail, and wider soundstage. The Universal Series IEMs all feature 64Audio’s sleek, industrial shell design that’s lightweight and ergonomic.

64Audio A-Series are custom-molded IEMs targeted at professional musicians, studio artists, or on-stage performers. These IEMs use the same Balanced Armature driver setup as the U-Series IEMs but offer improved build quality, comfort, and sound compared to their U-Series counterparts. Like the U-Series IEMs, A-Series monitors can have up to eighteen drivers depending on the model but are available in custom-molded shells only.

The Signature Series and Hybrid IEMs from 64Audio are equally impressive IEMs featuring a more fun and engaging sound that will suit casual listeners.

Driver-wise, Signature Series and Hybrid Series in-ear monitors use hybrid driver setups featuring a dynamic driver and Balanced Armature hybrid setup.

In terms of build, the Signature Series is custom-only, while all the Hybrid IEMs feature 64Audio’s industrial shell design with unique faceplate designs and shell colors.

Best 64Audio IEM for Gaming

64Audio Volür IEM

64 audio volur iem faceplate view angled to show ear tips

Price: $2,499.00

True Isobaric dual dynamic drivers for bombastic explosions and immersive gaming experience

The Volür is 64Audio’s newest IEM 10-driver in-ear monitor, featuring a True Isobaric design for improved bass response, tia technology for reduced distortion, and Apex for improved in-ear comfort.

The 64Audio Volür uses two dynamic drivers for the bass, seven Balanced Armature drivers for the mids and high-mids, and a tia high-frequency driver for the ultra-highs.

The bass is the most impressive part of the 64Audio Volür. The True Isobaric design delivers bass with a satisfying combination of punch and deep rumble. What’s more impressive is the bass presentation on the Volur. The sound is organic and natural, yet the dual dynamic drivers offer enough speed to handle fast passages with ease.

Mids on the Volür is tuned well, considering the generous bass lift brought by the dual dynamic drivers. Male vocals sound natural and weighty, while female vocals extend nicely to the upper frequencies without harshness. Instruments are presented naturally on the Volür. Guitars sound life-like, and percussions are presented with substantial weight and tone.

Treble is well-extended on the Volür, courtesy of the Tia high-driver. The extended treble frequencies lead to improved air and space, but there can be times when high-frequency instruments sound thin and unnatural.

Comfort is great on the Volür IEM. It features the familiar metal shell build that 64Audio is known for. The shells aren’t small, but they aren’t too big either. Fit shouldn’t be an issue, even for listeners with smaller ears. The Apex Modules do their job - in-ear comfort is exceptional, allowing you to wear and listen to music for hours without fatigue.

64Audio Best Universal IEM for Musicians

64Audio U18t IEM

64Audio U18t UIEM angled view

Price: $2,999.00

18-driver beast with top-tier resolution and ultra-cohesive sound

Driver count should never be your primary concern when choosing an IEM. IEMs with more drivers don’t necessarily translate into better sound. That said, in-ear monitors with many drivers that are tuned well deliver a truly top-class experience.

The U18t is the ultimate U-Series IEM from 64Audio. With 18 drivers per side, the U18t is the most driver-dense in-ear monitor in 64Audio’s product stable - bar its custom counterpart, the A18t.

Like other U-Series IEMs, the U18t features Tia high drivers for extended high frequencies and Apex technology for improved in-ear comfort and sound.

The sound on the U18t is incredible, delivering a combination of smooth, cohesive tuning, a massive soundstage, impressive resolution, and detail.

The bass on the U18t is powerful and engaging but punchy and well-controlled. The eight Balanced Armature drivers assigned to the bass frequencies bring out a ton of detail and texture from low-frequency sounds.

The midrange on the U18t is high-resolution and offers a ton of detail with a very accurate tone. Vocals and instruments sound realistic, and there’s weight behind voices and notes.

The treble is impressively clear and well-extended on the U18t. The tia high driver does its job here - effortlessly extending the highest frequencies while keeping upper frequencies sounding smooth. Female vocals, stringed instruments, and cymbals sound alive and life-like.

Another highlight of the U18t is its soundstage performance. While IEMs typically have comparatively inferior soundstage qualities compared to headphones, the U18t delivers an impressive 3D-like sound presentation where sounds come from outside your head.

Even more impressive is the 64Audio U18t’s ability to highlight sounds in the soundscape, instantly enhancing the overall listening immersion when listening to your favorite tunes.

64Audio U18t UIEM package contents

  • Unbelievably large soundstage with accurate sound positioning.
  • Swappable Apex Modules improve comfort and sound.
  • Shells are well-built and comfortable to wear for average-sized ears.

  • High price tag.

64Audio Custom In-Ear Monitor for Musicians

64Audio N8 IEM

64Audio N8 front view

Price: from $1,699.00

Nathan East Signature IEM delivers smooth luscious sound

The N8 is 64Audio’s first Signature Series IEM created for the legendary bassist Nathan East. This custom-only IEM features a hybrid driver setup with one dynamic driver and eight Balanced Armature drivers, tuned to deliver a rich, smooth, and natural sound.

The bass performance of the N8 is outstanding. The overall sound here is smooth, thick, and powerful, with excellent details and clarity. Sub-bass reaches deep on the N8, offering good textured rumble. Its mid-bass gives a punchy sound, while the lower mids offer a slightly leaner presentation for tight impacts.

The midrange is laid back on the N8, so vocals and instruments sit farther back in the mix. Still, there’s good clarity in vocals and instruments, and the tone is exceptionally accurate here.

The treble is well-extended on the N8, offering good clarity and air. The treble tuning leans toward a smoother presentation for a more balanced and natural sound

Because the N8 is a custom IEM, you build it using a wide array of shell colors and faceplate options like glitters, woods, and exotic materials. You can even add your custom artwork for the faceplate and make the N8 your own

Overall, the 64Audio N8 is a smooth-sounding and comfortable in-ear monitor that will satisfy professionals and casual listeners alike.

64Audio N8 package contents

Pros
  • Smooth, non-fatiguing tuning.
  • Good bass quantity, with good impact and details.
  • Impressively natural vocal and instrument presentation.
  • Lots of shell and faceplate options.
Cons
  • Treble lovers will find the sound a bit dark.
  • Custom-only.

64Audio In-Ear Monitor for Audiophiles

64Audio U6t IEM

64Audio U6t UIEM angled view

Price: $1,299.00

Well-balanced tuning and great details for a true-to-life sound presentation

Audiophiles looking for a great-sounding IEM should look no further than the 64Audio U6t - a unique IEM with exceptional sound, tuning, and comfort

The 64Audio U6t is a six-driver IEM with Balanced Armature drivers handling the bass, mids, and high frequencies. For the treble, the U6t uses 64Audio’s tia driver.

As for sound, the U6t’s tuning leans toward a warm-neutral tuning with clarity and cohesion as its primary focus. That isn’t to say the U6t sounds thin or boring - far from it. The bass on the U6t hits hard for a BA-only IEM, delivering a powerful and hefty bass presentation that adds a sense of body to the music.

The midrange on the U6t is well-balanced. There’s a good elevation on both the lower and upper midrange, which gives male vocals a powerful sound. Meanwhile, female vocals extend naturally onto the higher frequencies but remain smooth and controlled. Instruments like guitars and keyboards sound very natural and life-like on the U6t IEM.

The treble on the U6t sounds smooth. The tia high driver allows for effortless extension into the highest frequencies but with a less airy and crisp presentation compared to other more treble-heavy IEMs. This tuning gives cymbals a more rounded, smoothed-out presentation, which may or may not satisfy audiophiles looking for extreme detail from their in-ear monitors.

As with all 64Audio IEMs, build quality, comfort, and fit is exceptional on the 64Audio U6t. It features 64Audio’s metal shell with matte black paint and a beautiful black faceplate. The U6t also includes swappable Apex Modules for improved comfort, and the ability to alter the U6t's sound to suit your preferences.

64Audio U6t UIEM package contents

Pros
  • Exceptionally natural sound throughout the entire frequency range.
  • Bass is powerful and punchy.
  • Non-fatiguing midrange and treble presentation.
  • Very comfortable shells with great clean aesthetics.
  • Apex Modules offer improved comfort and sound.
Cons
  • Only comes with a 3.5mm cable out of the box.

Best 64Audio IEM for Live Performance

64Audio A12t IEM

64Audio A12t front view

Price: $1,999.00

Reference-tuned flagship IEM with great resolution and details

The 64Audio A12t is a top-of-the-line custom in-ear monitor from 64Audio. It features an all-BA driver setup tuned to deliver a similar tuning and technical ability as its universal counterpart, the U12t.

Bass is the best part about the A12t’s sound. The presentation is natural and detailed, highlighting nuances in low-frequency sounds like rumbles and vibrations. Bass guitars, cellos, and other low-frequency instruments sound very realistic - able to shine in their own space without bleeding into other frequencies.

The midrange on the A12t is exceptional as well. Like the bass, the mids on the A12t are natural and smooth. There’s great balance throughout the entire midrange region, which gives vocals center staging in the mix. Male vocals come through with good tone and detail, while female vocals sound weighty and well-extended.

The treble on the A12t sounds warm and smooth. The good thing about this is that the A12t will never sound sharp no matter what you’re listening to, but the downside is that cymbals and other high-frequency sounds lose a bit of detail and intensity than you would expect, leading to a slightly less engaging sound.

The 64Audio A12t IEM has exceptional build quality. The custom-molded shells are built well - free from sharp edges or unevenness. Like other 64Audio IEMs, the 64Audio A12t has swappable Apex Modules for improved in-ear comfort and the ability to change the IEM’s sound to your liking.

64Audio A12t package contents

Pros
  • Powerful, fast bass with very good rumbles and textures.
  • Extremely good detail retrieval reveals every detail in your music.
  • Soundstage is really big with good sound positioning.
  • Custom-molded shells are well-built and comfortable.
Cons
  • Long build time.
  • Lackluster accessories for the price point.
