The Krypton 5 is a revolutionary in-ear monitor designed with the discerning audiophile in mind. Five incredible high-fidelity drivers and innovative technologies like Kinetic Bass and ATOM Venting combine to give you an unparalleled listening experience.
All that sonic goodness is wrapped in machined aluminum shells and mated with Sapphire Glass faceplates for unbeatable looks and durability.
Everything you need is included with the FiR Audio Krypton 5 IEMs!
The Krypton 5 comes with premium features for improved comfort, durability, and aesthetics:
The Krypton 5 comes in both universal and custom build options. Both of which offer wonderful fit and finish and are packed with unique technologies to give you a combination of comfort and durability for years to come.
The KR5 Universal exudes class and elegance with its machined aluminum shells and Sapphire Glass faceplates. The Krypton 5 custom is no slouch in the looks and build quality department either, offering high-quality 3D printed shells you can customize to your liking.
The FiR Audio KR5's five-driver setup is tuned to deliver a smooth, buttery sound perfect for genres like EDM, Pop, and R&B.
The Krypton 5 lets you feel the bass and hear vocals and instruments with next-level clarity and detail. The KR5's expansive soundstage offers plenty of space for every sound to stretch its legs, and the accurate soundscape makes you feel like you're in the music.
The bass on the FiR Audio Krypton 5 is unlike anything you've ever heard in an in-ear monitor.
The KR5's revolutionary Kinetic Bass technology pumps low-end frequencies and vibrations directly to your outer ear. When combined with the Krypton 5's weighty and powerful bass, you'll experience a speaker-like sound where you hear and feel the bass at the same time.
Traditional in-ear monitors seal the ear canal for the best sound performance. The air-tight seal typically leads to discomfort caused by extra air pressure as the miniature speaker drivers move to create sound.
With the ATOM venting system in the KR5, your ear drums can remain relaxed and pressure-free, so you can listen to music for extended periods without fatigue.
Traditional in-ear monitors use sound tubes to carry sound to the ear canal, resulting in a closed-in and stuffy sound. The FiR Audio KR5 does away with these sound tubes, allowing sound from the drivers to flow freely for unrestricted sound reproduction.
The Open Acoustics System consists of three major components: Open Drivers, Sound Reactor, and Sound Reflector.
The Open Drivers allow sound to radiate freely and flow to the specially designed Sound Reactor. Here, sounds are shaped naturally and then allowed to flow freely to a sound reflector, which guides sound waves directly to the ear canal.
The result is a pure, untainted sound for the best high-fidelity sound experience.
From its durable connector to its robust shells, the KR5 is built from the ground up to withstand hours of abuse on stage, in the studio, or at home.
The KR5 universal comes with RIGID tech for enhanced durability. The RIGID 2-Pin and Coaxial Connector are rated for up to 1000 and 5000 connections, respectively, for uninterrupted listening sessions.
RIGID tech doesn't stop at the connectors. The RIGID Snap Screen protects the KR5 from debris while easy to replace when the need arises, while the RIGID 3D Printed Shells in the KR5 Custom are built 20% thicker than competing custom IEMs, for lasting durability.
The Krypton 5 covers frequencies from 20hz and extending to 20kHz - allowing for a wide range of frequencies to be reproduced accurately.
The Krypton 5 is a premium universal hybrid IEM from FiR Audio. Priced at $2,999, the KR5 offers a well-balanced and engaging sound with good comfort and excellent durability.

While we fully stand by every product that we sell, we understand that sometimes you might change your mind or realize the product you ordered wasn't exactly what you were hoping for.
Here's a quick rundown of our return policy.
We get it. You've got a lot of choice when it comes to online retailers. Here's why we think you should shop with us at HiFiSoundGear.
Ordering Process:
At HiFiSoundGear, we understand that the journey to perfect audio is unique for every individual. We also understand that the custom IEM ordering process can be confusing at times. That's why our custom IEM ordering process is designed to be as seamless and supportive as possible.
Here's how we do it:
1) Choose your custom IEM model, add to cart, and proceed through checkout. This authorizes payment for the base IEM, and gets the ordering process started.
2) We'll reach out with an order confirmation and send you a form with instructions on choosing your custom options. You can fill out the form yourself, or contact us by phone or email. We're happy to fill in the options for you - just let us know what you're looking for!
3) If you've chosen any options that have an extra cost associated with them, we'll handle it at this point of the process with an invoice. (Custom artwork, wood faceplates, etc.)
4) We'll find a few audiologists in your area and work on helping you get an appointment set for your impressions! All you need to do is show up. We'll provide you with a special guide and instructions for your audiologist.
5) Send us pictures of your impressions so that we can verify whether they can be used for production. This prevents the headache of shipping your impressions only to find that they are not detailed enough.
6) We'll send you a shipping label and a confirmation sheet for your impressions, marked and addressed to the right place. We'll even ship you a box if you need it!
7) We'll confirm that your impressions have been received, and that the production of your custom IEMs has begun! Expect to wait 4-6 weeks for production and final shipment.
As always, we're available to help at any point of the process. Just reach out by phone at (888) 926-8024 or by e-mail at info@hifisoundgear.com.
