View full detailsIEMs with 12 or more drivers are some of the best in-ear monitors your money can buy. These high-end in-ear monitors can have anywhere between 12 to a staggering 18 drivers per shell, giving manufacturers unprecedented control over each driver’s tuning, and allowing them to tune these in-ear monitors to deliver the best sound possible.
Browse our collection of IEMs with 12 or more drivers from 64Audio, Noble Audio, and THIEAUDIO, and find the best multi-driver IEM so you can experience top-tier sound in your favorite music and playlists.
More drivers don’t instantly mean better sound in in-ear monitors or IEMs. You can pack as many drivers as you can in an IEM’s shells, but if you don’t tune every driver correctly, the multi-driver IEM won’t sound any better than a well-tuned single-driver unit. Tuning is what makes or breaks an IEM’s sound.
With that said, well-tuned multi-driver IEMs have the inherent advantage of having more drivers to cover specific areas of the frequency range. Manufacturers can assign these drivers to reproduce only a specific range of sounds to maximize each driver’s sound potential. This typically results in an incredibly accurate sound throughout the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies, which makes an IEM sound engaging and detailed at the same time.

The 64Audio U18t is the most driver-dense IEMs you'll find in the market. The U18t makes full use of all 18 drivers, offering a truly incredible level of detail and resolution, and with Apex tech under the hood, you can enjoy a wide soundstage and pressure-free listening experience.
Price: $3,900.00
The Ronin is Noble Audio's studio-reference IEM, tuned to deliver the most precise sound with excellent detail and clarity. The 64Audio U12t is a legendary in-ear monitor, lauded for its incredibly balanced sound and 3D-like soundstage presentation. Twelve expertly-tuned drivers combine to produce a powerful and detailed bass, clean vocals and instrumentals, and a smooth and detailed treble. With Apex technology built in, you can enjoy zero in-ear pressure and listen to your favorite music or playlists in absolute comfort.
Price: $2,999.00
64Audio’s 18-driver IEMs consist of the original U18t and the updated U18s. Among the two, the U18s is the more “fun-sounding” IEM, offering a dark, thick, and musical sound while retaining its studio reference chops.
The 64Audio U18s IEM sounds wonderful - it delivers a natural, dynamic, and detailed sound with good low-end warmth for a darker and thicker sound presentation.
Despite BA drivers handling the bass frequencies, the U18s offer satisfying impact and power in kick drums and bass notes. Bass notes sound nuanced and layered, allowing you to hear more details from bassy passages.
The midrange on the U18s sounds accurate - vocals and instruments sound correct and clear. Like the bass and midrange, the treble on the U18s is tonally balanced, offering a life-like tone without harshness.
The soundstage is wide, deep, and tall on the U18s. You get a good sense of instrument positions on the stage, which definitely helps deliver a more immersive experience.
Like other 64Audio universal IEMs, the U18s feature a comfortable shell shape that’s fairly lightweight. You can wear the U18s for extended periods without issues, and with Apex Venting under the hood, you can enjoy zero in-ear fatigue and enhanced sound.
If you’re looking for a warm-sounding and comfortable IEM with 12 or more drivers, then the U18s is the one to get.

The 64Audio U12t is the Swiss army knife of the IEM world, offering a high level of resolution, detail, tuning, and comfort to make your gaming experience more immersive.
Under the U12t’s shells are 12 Balanced Armature incredible drivers tuned to produce a warm-neutral sound - perfect for listening to music or playing games. The bass is DD-like in presentation, offering a satisfying impact and rumble. Explosions, blasts, gunfire, and other in-game sounds are reproduced with power and impact for that next-level gaming immersion.
The soundstage and imaging on the U12t is among the best in the business, offering excellent width, height, and depth, for a complete 3D-like sound environment. Pinpoint enemy locations effortlessly and dominate the opposition with the U12t’s accurate imaging.
Wear the U12t for hours without fatigue - the U12t’s shells are comfortable and lightweight, offering a fit that disappears in your ears. Pushing comfort even further is Apex Venting tech, which vents extra ear pressure for a fatigue-free listening experience.

For studio mixing work, you’ll want a reference-level IEM with a flat and detailed sound. This type of IEM lets you make music that sounds good on as many systems as possible.
The Noble Audio Ronin is one of the best IEMs for the job, offering incredible tonal accuracy and a flat, studio-reference sound for precise studio mixing work at home or in the studio.
Under the Ronin’s gorgeous blue and black marble shells is a twelve-driver hybrid setup with eight Balanced Armatures for the bass and midrange and four Electrostatic drivers for the treble. All twelve drivers are tuned for maximum sound accuracy for effortless studio mixing work.
The bass is lean and clean, and impactful. You won’t get bass-head amounts of low-end grunt here - there’s excellent sub-bass rumble when the track calls for it but it never bleeds into the mids.
The midrange is where the Ronin truly shines, delivering exceptional vocal and instrument clarity with eye-opening detail and tone. Vocals are forward and life-like, with details like slides and taps easily heard from instruments like guitars and pianos.
The treble on the Ronin is well-extended and very detailed. So detailed that the treble can sometimes sound a bit sharp in some tracks. Still, the treble presentation is wonderful and offers added air for an improved perception of instrument separation.
The Noble Ronin IEM is large, so fit might be challenging if you have small ears. With that said, the shells are well-built and smooth to the touch, and the faceplates are stunning in person, offering a unique 3D look with its blue and black marble aesthetic.
Overall, the Noble Audio Ronin is a fantastic studio-reference IEM that should work well for editing audio or mixing tracks at home or in the studio. Its accurate and detailed sound reveals details in music you’ve never heard before, allowing you to create nuanced tracks with ease.
Price: $1,499.00
The THIEAUDIO V16 Divinity is well-tuned, comfortable, and offers great fit even if you have small ears. With 16 Balanced Armatures onboard, the V16 delivers deep bass, crystal clear mids, and a smooth, non-fatiguing treble - perfect for listening to many genres.
The V16 Divinity is a very resolving in-ear monitor, allowing you to hear nuances and details in your favorite music effortlessly. Its soundstage is wide and offers really good positional accuracy, which helps enhance the overall immersive listening experience when you listen to these IEMs.
Comfort and fit are good with the V16 Divinity. You’ll find ergonomic bumps at the back of each shell which help the V16 sit snugly in your ears. The nozzles are short and wide, so you might need to find the perfect ear tips to get the proper seal.
The THIEAUDIO V16 Divinity is an excellent in-ear monitor if you’re looking for a smooth, non-fatiguing listening experience. You get 16 drivers per side and a comfortable shell shape that you can wear for hours without fatigue. Perfect for long commutes on the train or hours of listening at home or work.
Price: $899.00
In-ear monitors have come a long way in just a few years. These days, you can easily find great-sounding sets for less than $1000, with one of the best ones being the THIEAUDIO Hype 10 IEM.
The Hype 10 is a twelve-driver hybrid IEM with dual dynamic drivers for the bass and a staggering 10 Balanced Armatures for the midrange and treble. The bass is easily the best part about the Hype 10 IEM’s sound, offering good sub-bass extension with defined rumbles and a strong impactful punch. The clean and balanced midrange delivers clear vocals and instruments with an accurate tone. The treble is well-extended and offers good detail yet never sounds fatiguing.
The highlight of the Hype 10 is the IMPACT2 dual 10mm dynamic drivers in an isobaric configuration. THIEAUDIO says this technology offers enhanced bass quality without sacrificing tone and texture. Tuning-wise, THIEAUDIO gave the Hype 10 a 10dB bass shelf for deep and textured rumbles but kept a more balanced tuning for the midbass to not muddy the midrange frequencies.
As with other THIEAUDIO IEMs, the Hype 10 offers a good fit despite the large shells. If you have small ears, you might have to experiment with various ear tips to get the right seal and fit. Otherwise, fit and comfort should be pretty good thanks to the ergonomic shell shape.
You can never go wrong with the THIEAUDIO Hype 10. At just $899, you’re getting a solid-sounding in-ear monitor with top-tier bass quality and a smooth overall sound signature that you can enjoy anywhere and anytime.
Everything went really smoothly and I'm enjoying the headset I purchased. It shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. I had a question about my purchase and received a quick response from the seller. I would buy from HiFiSoundGear again.
Unexpected as in very pleasantly surprised at the sound quality coming out of these :)
I took my Mega5-EST and hooked em up wirelessly and don't miss the wire sound AT ALL!! IMO the wireless sound was 98% of the wired sound without the PIA of the wire. Unless you have some amazing source gear, which thanks to Adam at hifisoundgear I do, you would be hard pressed to hear a massive difference. Especially with a phone as your source.
I did A/B noble Fokus Prestige vs Go pod w Mega 5 and gotta say l, there is more balanced sound with the Go pod chain then the Prestige on its own. To be fair the Mega 5 punches WAY above its price... so the 2 are a match made in heaven.
I find the connection very stable as well. I've used my iPhone AAC/SBC as well as with FiiO BT11 to get other than Apple codecs and was pleasantly surprised as well.
The ear hooks are very comfortable. Actually prefer them to the wire hanging over my ear with a tie behind my neck. For some reason that's hard to get used to and pulls as I wear loose shirts. The hooks stay in as I like to move around a bit. Also the weight is better distributed than other wireless IEMs as the components are in the hooks. The prestige, unless I have foam tips, which I'm not a fan of, will pop out of my ears when I move around. These stay stable and I do not have to re-seat the IEMs to get that great bass nearly as often with other wireless IEMs.
Battery level has been all day 10 hrs so far with intermittent breaks and still have 28% left.
The case also is deep enough to fit the Mega w hooks as it charges which is very convenient. Some IEMs may be too big but they fit with a tad bit of room to spare.
Of course having the flexibility to swap out your favorite IEMs as needed is awesome!!
5 stars for the Go pod and more importantly 5 stars to Adam and his team for such amazingly awesome customer service!! You guys ROCK!! Thanks :)
The iFi Audio iDSD Diablo 2 is an absolute masterpiece in the world of portable amps. It delivers an audio experience that redefines what’s possible in a compact, travel-friendly device.
To all the "haters" out there who mention that the 5180mw output is an overstatement and the "balanced" is not a true balanced output... I say whatever... it drives anything I throw at it with aplomb! FostexTH900mk2, ZMF Caldera Open and Closed, ANY IEM my friends and I have tried ...too many to list. If you need more power than this portable titan.... well you may have hearing loss. And it drives all I mentioned without using "beast mode" (they refer to it as Nitro (1 of 3 settings)). If anything, it could use a lower gain option / IEM match for some sensitive IEMs.
The implementation of BT 5.4 (supports all codecs) is a welcomed addition for quality, but in general, the distance it can be from the source is very small for consistency. That is not a Diablo issue, but a BT5.4 issue IMO.
As for the sound quality...simply unparalleled. I have compared this to desktop headphone amps in the same price range and I would put it toe to toe with them. It even ran close to my buddy's Burson Soloist 3x!!! and the Diablo 2 is portable :)
I run it using A&K SP3000T and it oozes warmth and richness in the lows and highs WITHOUT covering/smoothing anything up in the mids, which is my jam.
It is on the heavier side and will still fit in a pocket... barely. built like a brick. At the limit of what I would like to carry but totally worth it! I get about 6 hours of the 8 rated battery with constant listening, no Bluetooth on, hard wired, IEMs / Caldera tested on the battery life.
In conclusion, the iFi Audio iDSD Diablo 2 is nothing short of extraordinary. It’s the ultimate portable amp for those who refuse to compromise on sound quality, power, or versatility. If you’re serious about your audio and want the best experience on the go, the Diablo 2 is the perfect choice.
Shout out to Adam, a massive THANK YOU!!! for your absolutely OVER THE TOP customer service and shopping experience :) :) Seriously, your dedication and attention to detail have been nothing short of exceptional.
With all the online ordering over the years, HifiSoundGear provides the best service I have encountered. It was as though they were good friends. They responded so nicely to all my questions about the product and shipment. As it works out, while I liked the IEM's, I concluded they were not sufficiently different from the ones i had been using. Again, for the process of returning and getting a refund, they could not have been nicer. Buying from them was a first rate experience.
Recently had a great experience with Adam and Laura. I requested a price match for the FiR KR5 and it was such a painless process. Adam and Laura’s communication is top notch! Adam even sent me a personal thank you video. In my experience, this level of service is hard to come by these days. I highly recommend going through HifiSoundgear for your audio needs….I know I will be going forward! Thanks Adam and Laura!
The quality of service, level of help provided, and overall customer satisfaction is beyond anything I have experienced. I cannot say enough good things about the people who belong to this company!
As for the U4S, these are my first foray into 64 Audio but I am SO thankful that I got to experience them! My goodness the soundstage, bass response from the m15 module, and overall quality is just great!
Please, buy from these wonderful people! And if you can swing it, get a set of U4S! You will not regret it!
Only complaint is the cable. For the price, I expected better, but it works well and is just fine.
Thank you HiFi Sound Gear! I look forward to purchasing more from you in the future!
These are the closest TWS gets to pure IEM listening. You get the wide soundstage. They scale quickly. They have that satisfying bass slam often missing in TWS. The layering is just right and resolution is mesmerizing. Oh yes, you get the convenience of taking them on the go and they are truly comfortable. Noble has achieved a superior status in my eyes with the FoKus Prestige. I look forward to listening to them on my walks when I don’t have to take my DAP. Adam is one of the greats in this business. His commitment to customer service is exceptional. You aren’t a customer, but a client. He helped me after losing my first pair and just went above and beyond to ensure that I was shipped a new pair in less than two days. I am completely satisfied and impressed. You will be too. Thank you and looking forward to my future purchases from your establishment.
