As with all 64Audio models, these IEMs are built with extreme precision and attention to detail. You won't be disappointed with the build quality, and they're sure to last the test of time.
Both models feature a precision-machined aluminum shell that results in a durable, long-lasting IEM. The U6t is grey in color for a more simple, refined look - while the U4s features a blue watch-face style look that pops.
64Audio's Apex modules are also included - which allow you to adjust the level of outside noise in your ears. Adjustments range from -10dB to -20dB, as well as a solid plug that can be ordered if you desire. These Apex modules also vent any built-up pressure in your ears for a more comfortable listening experience.
You're probably looking to see how these IEMs stack up on sound. We'll share our thoughts here, although keep in mind this information tends to be anecdotal and subjective.
The U6t has an overall excellent sound. Similar to the U12t, it's got detail, instrument separation, and a flat reference style listening experience. We think this IEM works best for those looking for lots of detail in their music.
The U4s carries similar characteristics to the U6t, but with fewer drivers. It's a different listening experience to the U6t in that it's more fun and engaging - with punchier bass and sparkling highs. Overall still an excellent listening experience! We think this IEM works best for those on a slightly tighter budget that seek an end-game IEM. It'll still provide plenty of clarity and detail, but with a bit more character and energy.
Considering its slightly higher price tag of $1299, you'll get more detail for your money here. When compared to higher-priced models like the U12t, we believe the U6t is where the diminishing returns begin on cost. If you're looking for a highly detailed and precise listening experience, the U6t is the IEM for you.
The U4s, however, with its lower price tag of $1099, caters to the more budget-minded enthusiast. If you're looking for a more "fun" sound at a lower price, the U4s is the IEM for you!
The U6t is meant for those looking for a smooth yet detailed listening experience. This IEM, with its higher price point, is a great alternative to the renowned U12t ($1999) and provides a wonderful listening experience to match. You'll get more detail from this model, as well as more instrument separation.
The U4s offers punchy, powerful bass, balanced mids, and extended highs for a fun and engaging sound. Priced a bit lower at $1099, this IEM is sure to impress and works well for those with a tighter budget. It'll still sound great on all your tracks, but won't be as technically detailed or provide as much separation as the U6t.
Other models to consider in this price range are the THIEAUDIO Monarch MKIII and Empire Ears ESR MKII - but we think the 64Audio U4s or U6t IEMs are the highest-quality and best of your options. They're sure to last the test of time, sound great, and offer flexible adjustments with the Apex modules.
