THIEAUDIO IEMs for Gaming

THIEAUDIO Monarch MKII IEM

Price: $999.00

*comes with 1-Month TIDAL HiFi Plus Subscription

Hear every sound with astonishing clarity and pinpoint accuracy.

The THIEAUDIO Monarch MKII will wow you with its amazing soundstage and detail retrieval. It is the IEM you want to get for casual and competitive gaming.

The Monarch MKII is the follow-up to the original Monarch from THIEAUDIO. For the MKII model, THIEAUDIO added a new composite diaphragm driver for improved speed and responsiveness and paired it with two subwoofer BA drivers for powerful and detailed bass.

Improved bass aside, the Monarch series has always been known for its breathtaking midrange performance - the MKII does not disappoint. The Monarch MKII offers best-in-class sound accuracy, clarity, and detail, which translates to ethereal vocal performances, true-to-life instrument presentation, and a realistic soundstage.

The Monarch MKII’s exceptional midrange is what makes it great for gaming. You get pinpoint sound positioning and improved immersion with the Monarch MKII - perfect for playing first-person shooters or your favorite Triple-A games.

The treble on the Monarch MKII is smooth and detailed but well-controlled. You won’t hear unwanted sharpness when listening to treble-heavy tracks, eliminating distracting high-frequency sounds from your favorite games or music.

The Monarch MKII has a similar shell shape and build to the original Monarch IEM. The shells are a bit on the larger side, and so is the wide nozzle, so you probably should look elsewhere if you have smaller ears.

Fit aside, the Monarch MKII’s overall build is rock solid - the two-piece shells are mated seamlessly, so the shells are smooth to the touch. Those faceplates are a work of art

The THIEAUDIO Monarch MKII comes with a great selection of silicon and foam tips in the box. You also get a small THIEAUDIO-branded microfiber cleaning cloth, a large carrying case, and a braided cable with multiple terminations.

  • Ultra-clear midrange presentation with life-like tone.

  • Wide and accurate soundstage.
  • Lots of accessories in the box.
Cons
  • Requires a powerful source to extract maximum performance.
  • Shells are a bit large.

THIEAUDIO In-Ear Monitors for Singers

THIEAUDIO Oracle MKII IEM

Price: $589.00

*comes with 1-Month TIDAL HiFi Plus Subscription*

Experience top-tier vocal performance at a price that won't break the bank.

Singers will love an IEM that can reproduce vocals with accurate tone and wonderful clarity. THIEAUDIO’s Oracle MKII IEM checks both boxes easily while delivering a well-balanced sound you can enjoy no matter what genre you choose to listen to.

Driving the THIEAUDIO Oracle is a 10mm Dynamic Driver for the bass, two Knowles and Sonion Balanced Armatures for the midrange, and two electrostatic tweeters for the highs.

The midrange is the Oracle MKII’s best quality, exhibiting true-to-life pitch/tone and exceptional clarity. Vocals sound unreal on the Oracle MKII - male vocals get that satisfying grunt in the low end and extend to the upper registers while maintaining a great tone. Female vocals are outstanding, extending effortlessly to the upper frequencies with very good body and air.

The wonderful midrange tuning is helped by the bass and treble. The bass on the Oracle MKII is more mid-bass focused, which gives the music a punchy sound. Treble is well-extended - almost too extended at times but offering lots of detail and intensity.

Build quality is typical of THIEAUDIO. You get a two-piece shell mated perfectly at the seams and that beautiful faceplate design that can pass as an art piece

One thing to note about the THIEAUDIO Oracle MKII is the large shells and wide nozzles. You might have problems wearing the Oracle MKII for long sessions if you have smaller ears, so just consider that.

In the box is a high-quality braided cable with three termination options, alongside a wide selection of silicone and foam tips. You’re also getting a THIEAUDIO-branded case and a microfiber cleaning cloth.

THIEAUDIO In-Ear Monitors for Drummers

THIEAUDIO Hype 10 IEM

thieaudio hype 10 front view

Price: $899.00

*comes with 1-Month TIDAL HiFi Plus Subscription

Powerful bass for the energetic drummer

The THIEAUDIO Hype 10 IEM has everything a drummer needs - powerful, clear, and smooth sound, and a comfortable and durable build for long performances or listening sessions.

The Hype 10’s bass is its most standout feature. A whopping 10dB bass boost produced by those twin dynamic drivers delivers bass-head amounts of bass while keeping the low-end frequencies detailed and well-separated from the midrange. Kick drums hit with authority on the Hype 10, and every impact resonates on your chest - it's that powerful.

The powerful bass gives the midrange a good amount of weight and thickness. The midrange on the Hype 10 IEM is tuned to sound organic and warm. Vocals and instruments are presented with very good realism and detail. Guitars sound life-like and so do other instruments like bass guitars, and keyboards.

The treble on the Hype 10 is clean, precise, and smooth. The well-tuned treble gives a feeling of space and air - without the harshness associated with extended high-frequencies. Cymbals are presented with good detail and sound crisp and full, never sounding thin, no matter the situation.

Like other THIEAUDIO IEMs, the Hype 10 features a similar ergonomic shell design with its black shells and space-themed face plates. The shells are high-quality - you won’t feel unpleasant edges or weird irregularities in the shells themselves.

In terms of size, the Hype 10 is a bit on the larger side; something to consider if you have smaller-than-average ears. The nozzles are short but wide, but finding a great fit won't be a problem, thanks to the generous ear tips selection you get in the box.

Other accessories include a high-quality cable with three termination options, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and a carrying case.

thieaudio hype 10 among rocks

  • Exceptional bass quality and power with good rumble and punch.
  • Vocals and instruments sound claer and accurate.
  • Treble is well-extended but smooth.
  • Natural tonality offers life-like sound.
Cons
  • Shells are big and nozzles are wide.

THIEAUDIO IEMs for Mixing

THIEAUDIO Prestige LTD IEM

thieaudio prestige ltd front view

Price: $1,100.00

*comes with 1-Month TIDAL HiFi Plus Subscription

Balanced sound and wonderful clarity for an enjoyable mixing experience

THIEAUDIO’s Prestige LTD IEM is their most balanced in-ear monitor yet. Featuring one dynamic driver, four Balanced Armatures, and four Electrostatic drivers, the Prestige LTD is tuned to deliver a more refined sound signature.

The bass on the Prestige LTD is fast and accurate. You get enough bass quantity to give music a powerful and enjoyable low-end, and the slightly recessed mid-bass offers a more accurate sound reproduction on bass guitars, bass drums, cellos, and other low-frequency instruments and sounds.

The midrange is very balanced and delivers an accurate tone with good detail. The overall midrange tuning is done so that vocals and instruments sit in the middle of the mix - coexisting seamlessly with the bass and treble. Vocals and instruments sound very accurate and true-to-life on the THIEAUDIO Prestige.

The treble on the Prestige LTD is well-extended and produces a good perception of air and space between instruments, without sounding shrill

Prestige LTD features a similar shell and faceplate setup to other THIEAUDIO IEMs like the Hype 10 or Monarch. The shells are a bit larger than average IEMs - something to consider if you have small ears. The nozzles are short and wide, but fit won't be an issue with the right ear tips.

Overall, the THIEAUDIO Prestige LTD IEM is a great choice for audio mixing. Its balanced sound signature and true-to-life sound presentation can help you create accurate-sounding tunes and tracks at home or in the studio.

prestige ltd iems on thieaudio printed disc

  • Crystal-clear midrange and treble.
  • Accurate sound throughout the bass, midrange, and treble.
  • Wide and open soundstage with good separation between instruments.
Cons
  • Might be too bass light for some.
  • Upper treble boost can get bright at times.

THIEAUDIO In-Ear Monitor for Musicians

THIEAUDIO V16 Divinity IEM

thieaudio v16 divinity front view

Price: $1,499.00

*comes with 1-Month TIDAL HiFi Plus Subscription

Warm tuning for smooth and enjoyable music listening sessions

THIEAUDIO’s V16 Divinity is a fun and musical-sounding in-ear monitor that’s great for live monitoring and casual music listening.

Driving the V16 Divinity’s sound is an all-BA driver setup, consisting of sixteen Balanced Armature drivers from Sonion and Knowles. The Balanced Armature drivers are synced up through a 5-way crossover to ensure a cohesive sound reproduction

Sound-wise, the THIEAUDIO V16 Divinity’s sound is bassy with an accurate midrange tone and smooth treble.

The bass on the V16 Divinity is fast and accurate and delivers a powerful punch to your favorite beats. The snappy response of the BA drivers means you won't get the sort of rumble you would from dynamic driver hybrids like the Prestige LTD, for example. Nevertheless, the bass on the V16 Divinity is well done and delivers a satisfying impact when listening to Pop, RnB, or Hip-hop.

The midrange on the THIEAUDIO V16 Divinity is warm with an accurate tone. Vocals sit in the middle of the mix along with other instruments, leading to a more balanced and relaxed sound presentation

The treble on the V16 Divinity is smooth and non-fatiguing. There’s just enough treble extension to produce a sense of air and sparkle in some tracks, but the overall treble tuning makes for a more relaxed high-end with relatively less detail and sparkle.

Like other THIEAUDIO IEMs, the V16 Divinity shells use high-quality medical-grade resin material. The shell shape features less ergonomic bumps compared to IEMs like the Monarch, but the fit is still really good.

Speaking of fit, the THIEAUDIO V16 Divinity is a bit on the larger end. If you have small ears, you might experience fitment and comfort issues with the V16 Divinity. The nozzles are also quite wide and long, which might introduce ear fatigue over time. Finding the right tips will help with this.

You also get a similar set of accessories in the box - a high-quality 2-pin cable with three termination options, a carrying case, and a generous selection of ear tips.

Overall, the THIEAUDIO V16 Divinity is a well-rounded IEM with a fun sound signature that will appeal to musicians and audiophiles alike. While the tuning isn’t flat enough for serious mixing work, there’s enough balance, clarity, and musicality in these IEMs to make them a great option for anyone looking to experience next-level sound quality.

thieaudio v16 divinity on wooden surface

Pros
  • Fast and accurate bass with good rumble when called upon.
  • Vocals and instruments sound weighty and well-balanced in the mix.
  • Sounds are easy to pinpoint and pick out in busy tracks.
Cons
  • Shells are a bit large.
