At the front of the 6301NE is the specially-designed 4" Driver which delivers life-like vocals and sparkly treble. Driving this driver is a powerful 20W Class-D Amplifier, for distortion-free sound even at higher volumes.

The Fostex 6301NE is the 6301 variant you want if you need an XLR Balanced Input.

The electronically balanced XLR delivers noise-free sound and is built tough to withstand multiple connections, so you can enjoy reliable performance for years to come. You can also connect the 6301NE through the 1/4" unbalanced input for quick and easy connections to a wide array of audio interfaces.

The Fostex 6301NE is robust inside and out. Built-in protection circuits prevent unexpected overloads or short circuits, so you can enjoy a consistent and reliable sound at home, in the studio, or live events.

The 6301NE active speaker also features an automatic Standby Mode (auto-activates after 25 minutes) so the speakers only use power when needed.
