Tweak the ZEN CAN Signature's sound presentation through two analog processing modes - XBass II and XSpace add energy and detail to your favorite beats and a life-like ambiance to your music's soundstage.
Making all the right connections
The iFi Audio ZEN CAN Signature supports a wide array of input and output options.
Connect your preferred audio source via the ZEN CAN Signature's stereo RCA, 3.5mm single-ended, or 4.4mm balanced inputs.
Listen to your headphones or IEMs through the 4.4mm balanced out or the 3.5mm/6.3mm single-ended connections and enjoy crystal clear sound.
Prefer speakers? Connect your active speakers using a 4.4mm to XLR adapter and enjoy high-resolution sound through your favorite bookshelf speakers.
Low-noise military-spec PCB
The components used to build the iFi Audio ZEN CAN Signature were specifically chosen to maintain low noise and distortion levels and enhance the overall dynamic range for the cleanest sound possible.
ELNA Silmic II and OS-CON capacitors are known for their low noise and stable frequencies, while the iFi/AMR OV op-amps deliver some of the cleanest sound of any headphone amplifier.
To ensure all the components receive clean power, iFi Audio includes their low-noise iPower2 power supply, which boasts up to 10x quieter operation versus standard power supplies.
The result? Low noise floor and distortion for enhanced resolution, detail, and soundstage.
Fully-balanced Circuits
The iFi ZEN CAN Signature features fully balanced circuits and audio circuits for low-noise playback.
The fully discreet and balanced design ensures you hear your music the way it was intended by the artist or producer. No extra noise means you will get extra details and nuances in your music, elevating your listening experience.
Panasonic OS-CON Capacitors
iFi Audio used Panasonic OS-CON capacitors for the ZEN CAN Signature.
OS-CON caps offer low ESR for top-tier noise reduction, high dynamic range, and great reliability.
TDK Capacitors
Populating the ZEN CAN Signature's circuit board are TDK's C0G Class 1 ceramic capacitors.
The TDK C0G capacitors offer outstanding frequency stability. Low levels of distortion mean you'll hear your music with utmost clarity and resolution.
OV Series Op-Amp
The ZEN CAN Signature uses iFi's custom OV Series operational-amplifier.
The OV Series Op-amp guarantees low noise, low distortion, and high bandwidth to ensure the best sound reproduction.
